Overview
The Marlboro Pop Warner football program is part of Pop Warner Little Scholars, Inc. (PWLS), a non-profit organization that provides youth football and cheer/dance programs for participants in 41 states and several countries around the world. PWLS is the largest youth football and cheer/dance program in the United States , consisting of approximately 360,000 boys and girls ranging in age from 5 to 15 years old.
The goal for Marlboro Pop Warner program is to balance athletics and scholastics in order to develop well-rounded boys and girls who learn the fundamentals of football, cheerleading, and dance, as well as the importance of education – all delivered in a fun atmosphere conducive to developing character.
Achievements
Over the years, Marlboro Pop Warner program has fielded many competitive teams, including:
- 2007 North Junior PeeWee B Division – Regular Season Champions
- 2006 PeeWee C Division and Conference Championships
- 2004 PeeWee C north Division 1st Place
- 2004 Midget C North Division 1st Place
- 2001 Junior Midget North Division Championship
- 1994 PeeWee A North Division Championship
- 1993 Northern Junior PeeWee Championship
- 1993 Northern PeeWee Championship
The Marlboro Pop Warner Cheerleading program has also participated in and won many different competitions.
