Marlboro Pop Warner is pleased to announce the following individuals have made the Second Team Pop Warner Little Scholars 2007:

Marlboro Pop Warner Teams Advance to Garden State Games
Marlboro, NJ (November 6, 2007) -- Marlboro Pop Warner's Junior Midget and Junior PeeWee teams each advanced to the playoffs after a successful regular season. Both teams will compete in the Garden State Games this weekend.
The Junior Midget team, led by head coach Brian Lucas, shared the B North Division title with Rumson and Jackson II. Each team a posted 5-1 record to end the season and played in a three-way playoff tie-breaker in order to be seeded in the Garden State Games. Marlboro is playing Jersey Shore II on Sunday, November 11 at Toms River High School at noon.
At 7-1, Marlboro's Junior PeeWee team won the B North Division. Led by head coach Brian Coyle, the Junior PeeWees will play Jersey Shore II in the Garden State Games on Sunday, November 11 at Toms River High School at 10:00 AM.
Based on the outcome of these games, both teams can advance to the next round next weekend. The Garden State Games championship game will take place the following week during Thanksgiving weekend.

Congratulations to Christopher Rocca
For Outstanding Performance and Academic Excellence, and in Being Selected by Pop Warner Little Scholars on the Eastern Region First Team. Additionally, Christopher was selected for the First Team All American, which makes him one of the Top 25 student athletes in the nation.
